Punic Circle Railway (reporting mark PCR) is a Class III shortline railroad operating over rails that used to be a industrial railway line.

History[]

The PCR was founded by Chip 2 in 1994 after finding a old industrial railway line in the forest. Its started up with 4 ex-Southern Railway high hood SD40-2's numbered 1, 2, 3, and 4 respectively. Later they had fresh GP16 rebuilds from 9 GP7's found in the woods near the junkyard where Amtrak 59, a Rohr Turboliner, is now located. The GP16's got numbered 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9.

Today, they have several locomotives, including a China Railways KF heavily modified for US use.. The diesel-style bell originally installed when it arrived in 066 Punic Circle was replaced with a steam engine type bell, the Chinese headlights were replaced with an American style light with a cast number plate under it, and an American steam whistle was installed. The steel sheet on the front was removed and all red paint was painted over in black, with white trim on the running boards and wheel rims, and german style smoke deflectors were fitted.
